Namibia's road crash fatalities are among the highest in Africa, while the country loses nearly N$1.3 billion a year, on account of road accidents. Speaking at the 7th Annual Road Safety Conference underway at Luderitz, the Deputy Minister of Works and Transport, Veikko Nekundi, says that the rate at which Namibians are succumbing to the carnage on national roads is of serious concern.
