National water utility (NAMWATER) has condemned "in the strongest terms" a media report that it had shut its offices after registering a case of COVID-19. Company spokesperson John Shigwedha said the company merely sent staff at its head office home as a precautionary measure, after a single employee was believed to have come into contact with a person who tested positive for the Coronavirus. Head office employees were to work from home starting on Wednesday, until today, to allow for the building to be disinfected. The office will be open for business on Monday.
