Fifty-two teachers tested positive of COVID-19, while nine died of the pandemic in Oshana Region since January this year. This was confirmed by the Deputy Director of Education, Arts and Culture Hilma Nuunyango at the launch of a vaccination campaign. The aim of the campaign organised by the Namibia National Teachers Union (NANTU) branch in Oshana is to encourage teachers to get vaccinated.
