Members of the National Council (NC) are highly disturbed by claims of continued harassment and killing of Namibians along Chobe, Linyanti and Zambezi rivers by the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) and are appealing for urgent action to bring this to an end. Discussing a report by the standing committee on Home Affairs, Security, Constitutional and Legal Affairs, MPs described Botswana's actions as a declaration of war, saying Namibia must take action or lobby with SADC members to STOP Botswana' behaviour.
