NaTIS to offer learners license tests in Namibian vernaculars

The Roads Authority (RA) has introduced written learner license tests in several local languages at all its NaTIS Centres countrywide. The tests will be available from next Monday, 23 August. Several indigenous languages will now be offered as an option for written learner license tests to applicants who are not conversant in English. While English remains the primary medium for the tests, clients can choose between Afrikaans, Khoekhoegowab, Otjiherero, Oshiwambo, Rukwangali and Silozi. Other vernaculars will be added in the future. Learner License Applicants must submit their application forms in boxes, which are located at all the relevant NaTIS Offices. They will then be contacted via the RA SMS line 2000 to confirm the date and time to visit the NaTIS Office to complete the booking process.
