The Namibian Broadcasting Corporation (nbc) has announced the death of one of its employees Nico Nakale. Nakale died this morning at the Ongwediva MediPark. He worked as a senior camera operator at the national broadcaster and is one of the corporation's longest-serving employees. Nakale joined nbc in 1992 on a traineeship contract and was appointed junior cameraman the same year. Because of his hard work, he was appointed a senior cameraman five years later, a position he held until his death. nbc employees at the headquarters observed a moment of silence and reflection in memory of their colleague. The memorial and funeral service will be announced in due course.
