The Namibia Correctional Services (NCS) has warned members of the public against con-artists and scams being carried out by prison inmates. The scams involve inmates posting adverts of selling vehicles and other costly items on social media, eventually convincing their victims to deposit significant amounts of money to purchase these items, and only to find out later that such item does not exist.
