The presence of the Namibian Defence Force (NDF) along the Chobe, Kwando and Linyati rivers remains a mystery, as the force is largely seen protecting wildlife over the lives of humans. This is according to an investigation by the National Council's Standing Committee on Home Affairs, Security, Constitutional and Legal Affairs.
