Director-General of the National Planning Commission (NPC) Obeth Kandjoze is dissatisfied with the pace of school projects under the COVID-19 development budget in the Ohangwena Region. According to Kandjoze, Government has allocated about N$1 billion to the Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture countrywide, with Ohangwena receiving N$75 million for the construction of hostels, ablution facilities, and water infrastructure.
