The Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration says obtaining of national identity documents fraudulently is rife in the border regions of Namibia. The Home Affairs and Immigration Minister Pendukeni Iivula-Ithana accused Namibians of helping foreign nationals obtain these documents through false affidavits.
