Police caravans at Oshikango in the Ohangwena Region were gutted by fire this afternoon. The cause of the fire is not yet known. But according to some voices on the video of the fire incident, it's alleged that someone who resides there left the light in the room on. This reportedly started the fire, which then spread to other rooms in the block. Regional Crime Coordinator in Ohangwena Sakaria Amakali says a member was dispatched to the side to assess the situation and they can't comment on the matter at the moment. Amakali could not tell the NBC News team how many people are accommodated at the caravans.
