The Ohangwena region is faced with a number of challenges such as poverty, lack of basic services, unemployment among the youth and water shortages especially in the Oshikunde, Epembe and Okongo constituencies. This came to light when Ohangwena Governor Usko Nghaamwa delivered his Sate of the Region Address.
