The 39-year-old woman who stands accused of murdering her 16-year-old nephew, Johannes Nghilifavali, in December 2018 and burying him in a shallow grave, at Okakwa Village, has been denied bail. Hilde Kalola briefly informed the court that she is not guilty during her first court appearance at Ohangwena Magistrate's Court this morning. She faces charges of murder with GBV and obstructing the course of justice. The matter has been postponed to 19 May for further investigations and she remains in custody.
