The Omaheke Regional Health Directorate says it has the capacity and resources to deal with COVID-19 pandemic. On Sunday, the region recorded its first possible community or local transmission case at Gobabis. The case sent shockwaves throughout the community, especially considering that the 44-year-old woman had no travel history and could not identify any known cases of COVID-19, as a contact.
