Omaheke Police arrest cannabis dealers

The Namibian Police in the Omaheke Region recorded two drug busts. Six men were found in possession/dealing with 19kg of cannabis, valued at N$930 000 on Thursday, at Epako roadblock. A case has been opened at Epako Police Station. Two men were arrested at Gobabis/Transkalahari roadblock on Thursday during a Police search after being found with 13 bags of cannabis weighing 13kg, valued at N$674 000. The Namibian Police said the possession and dealing in drugs continue to rise but as law enforcers, together with the law-abiding citizens we will persist to detect and arrest those dealing in drugs. A 25-year-old man was arrested at Mondesa on Friday for dealing in cocaine powder of 35 grams, valued at N$17 500 He was arrested during a police operation in Tamariskia suburb, Swakopmund.
