The Office of the Prime Minister has identified approximately 50 000 households as beneficiaries of food aid as a result of persistent droughts at a cost of N$160 million. The beneficiaries included 35 000 households in the drought-ravaged Kunene Region, as well as 14 000 households in the Erongo and Omusati regions.
