The Oshana Region has activated its Regional Disaster Risk Management Committee to prepare for the outbreak of locusts, that have invaded some parts of northern regions. Oshana Governor, Elia Irimari called an urgent meeting comprising stakeholders and officials from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Land Reform to discuss the outbreak.
