Descendants of the OvaHerero and Nama genocide gathered at the Independence Memorial on Thursday to commemorate the 2nd October Extermination Order. The return of the skulls of their ancestors stolen and taken to Germany as well as some important historical artefacts were also celebrated. They called for a Genocide Memorial and Remembrance Day.
