More than 300 companies have given notice of retrenchment to their employees. These notices may have resulted in the retrenchment of about 5 748 employees throughout Namibia, between March and June this year. The information was revealed by the Minister of Labour, Industrial Relations and Employment Creation Utoni Nujoma, in response to a question from an opposition MP.
