Between the period of September 2019 and September 2020, the Namibia Police recorded over 5 000 gender-based violence cases, 800 rape cases and 74 murder cases countrywide. This was revealed during a recent engagement meeting between the Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, youth protestors against GBV and other stakeholders.
