Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) has written letters to Pope Francis and the United States secretary of state, Antony Blinken to lobby Germany to give fair and reasonable compensation for the 1904-1908 genocide against the OvaHerero and Nama. The party's leader McHenry Venaani described the N$18,4 billion offer as a slap in the face of descendants of the victims.
