Police Regional Commander for |Khomas, Commissioner Ismael Basson says the police have not made any arrests relating to the barbaric murder of Charmaine Saron. Basson now implores Windhoek residents, and particularly inhabitants of Dolam in Windhoek’s Katutura area, to assist police with the ongoing murder investigation of the 28-year-old Saron. Anyone with information that could help the police apprehend the suspect or suspects is encouraged to come forward. The police, Basson says, will protect the identity of anyone who will provide information that will lead to the successful arrest of the culprit or culprits. The |Khomas Regional Commander has further cautioned the public that the suspect(s) who committed the brutal crime are dangerous and cannot be allowed to roam in the community. Charmaine Saron was stabbed to death last week behind the ELCIN Parish in Katutura, the police suspected that it was a robbery gone fatal. The police also found another man who was tied up and robbed of N$1000 close to the scene where Saron was murdered.
