Police engage banks, private security sector over increased cash-in-transit heists and armed robberies at malls

The Namibian Police on Wednesday engaged the banking and private security sector, aimed at finding ways to bring an end to a growing number of cash-in-transit heists, bank robberies and armed robberies at shopping malls. Car hijackings, Shikongo says, are also on the rise and he called on police to go full throttle in rooting out crime.
