An anti-poaching expert says poverty and unemployment, play a major role in poaching cases in Namibia. Ivan Phillipson, the Commander of the Anti-poaching Unit at Wildlife Sanctuary Naankuse, observed that majority of suspects are driven by desperation to earn a living and risk long years behind bars just to feed their families.
