President Hage Geingob has donated two cows to the family of late former Member of Parliament and Swapo member, Ambrosius Kandjii. Apart from cattle, Dr. Geingob also donated cash and other necessities to the Kandjii family in his personal capacity. President Geingob said the late former lawmaker deserves a befitting send-off, given his dedication to service delivery at constituency and national levels. The Former Member of Parliament died on 08 June in the Gobabis State Hospital after a short illness. He was 49. Dr. Geingob, accompanied by cabinet ministers, visited the late Kandjii's family home on Wednesday. The Kandjii family has expressed appreciation to the President and other Namibians for the outpouring of support they received. The former councillor will be buried at Aminuis in the Omaheke Region on Saturday. A memorial service started today at the family home in Katutura. The body will be taken to various sites for viewing including the youth centre, on the Corner of John Herber and Albert Conradie Streets in Katutura Central and Namcol Centre here in Soweto before being transported to Aminuis for the burial.
