President Hage Geingob has conferred a state funeral for late former lawmaker Willem Konjore. Reverend Konjore died last week from a lung infection. The program for the official memorial service will be announced in due course by the family. The former SWAPO MP will be buried at #Gabes village in the ||Kharas Region, on Saturday. President Geingob described his death as a painful loss to the country, SWAPO party and the faith-based community.
