President Hage Geingob has expressed his condolences to the late businessman Jafet Hellao who died from COVID-19 over the weekend. Geingob said Hellao played an important role in the development of football and the community. Dr Geingob said he hoped that Hellao would recover from the dreadful disease but that was not to be. The president further shared that Hellao was a dear friend and a strong supporter of SWAPO. The businessman was many years ago an Orlando Pirates Football Club goalkeeper and also worked as the first team manager of the Brave Warriors. President Geingob has extended condolences to the family on behalf of the government and his family.
