President Hage Geingob says the deeds of late Mburumba Kerina in advancing the cause of independence should provide the family and Namibians with comfort. As one of the early petitioners for the country's independence to the UN, President Geingob says, he was able to witness Professor Kerina's work and activism geared towards freeing the country. Dr Geingob described Kerina's death as sad and expressed condolences to the family, children and friends.
