President Hage Geingob says the State of the Nation Address delivered this week, spoke to the scale of the challenges facing Namibia and the ambitions to help overcome those. In a statement to express appreciation, Dr Geingob hailed the conduct of ordinary Namibians during discussions as exemplary and in keeping with the one Namibia, one Nation rallying call. He said Namibians have been able to surmount the daunting challenges of COVID-19 and others in order to reimage themselves and reset the country on a trajectory of progress and development. The President thanked the lawmakers in Parliament and the National Assembly Speaker Peter Katjavivi, deputy Loide Kasingo and National Council Chairperson, Lucas Muha for the way in which the proceedings were officiated.
