President Hage Geingob, today received letters of credence from five new Heads of Mission, accredited to Namibia. Only two of the five diplomats will be based in Windhoek. Seddick Saoudi from Algeria and Portugal's Luis Augusto Fernandes Da Silva are the two resident ambassadors. Singapore's Zainal Arif Mantaha, John Cooter from Canada and Cote D' Ivoire Kone Sakaria will serve Namibia from Missions in Pretoria, South Africa. President Geingob hailed the relations between Namibia and the five countries And urged the diplomats to expand economic cooperation.
