Minister of Public Enterprises Leon Jooste has defended the primary listing of MTC on the Namibian Stock Exchange. Jooste says the decision was critical to safeguarding the interest of the public by ensuring that a significant amount of savings, which currently leaves the country for investment outlets in other countries, can be invested at home.
