Minister Tom Alweedo and ReconAfrica said initial results in the exploration for oil are showing that Namibia is endowed with an active onshore petroleum basin. The Minister of Mines and Energy and the Canadian company say initial data from the first well drilled in the two Kavango Regions provides clear evidence of a working petroleum system in the Basin.
