Robert Mugabe Clinic's medical staff down tools

Medical staff at the Robert Mugabe Clinic have downed tools and closed the gates of the COVID-19 testing facility. The health workers have decided to stop work after the office of the regional health director through a letter informed crucial medical staff that they should vacate all hotels and B paid by the ministry by today and to rather correctly use personal protective gear. All medical personal who administer testing and working closely with COVID-19 patients have been put in isolation facilities since the outbreak of the virus. Health executive director Ben Nangombe informed NBC News that the circular has been wrongly understood by the staff. He says his office has instructed the office of the regional director to rectify the situation. Nangombe added that no one has the authority to close any facility of the ministry apart from the ministry itself. By 10h00 the staff were back at work after officials from the ministry met with them.
