The Public Accounts and Economy committee has given the Rundu Town Council Executives seven working days to provide evidence on how N$186 million for 2016/17 financial years was spent. At a public hearing held at Rundu, the committee could not get clear answers for the non-submission of supporting documents, for understatements on all its dealings, and for unexplained differences of bank reconciliation, outstanding debtors, and differences in inventory sheet.
