SACU revenue pools drops by N$30,4 billion due to COVID-19

The revenue pool of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) has dropped by N$30,4 billion, and this decline was mainly due to the impact of COVID-19. SACU's Executive Secretary, Paulina Elago says this decline represents a 26% reduction in the common revenue pool during 2020/2021, which is a critical source of revenue for most member states.
