The impact of COVID-19 on peace and security in the region featured prominently on the agenda of the SADC Council of Ministers Committee, on Politics, Defence and Security's meeting. At the opening of a two-day virtual meeting, ministers have called for closer cooperation among member states to address challenges, including COVID-19.
