The Former Deputy Minister of Fisheries Samuel Ankama has died today, aged 63. According to his brother Willem Ankama, he died in the early hours at the Ongwediva Medipark. Ankama had battled with COVID-19 but was recently given the all clear from COVID-19. The former teacher was a staunch SWAPO member and a businessman.
