The Namibian Chiefs of Security cluster wants the COVID-19 regulations revised, to close loopholes that might hinder measures put in place to curb the virus. They called for the review of the relaxation of some regulations and the issuing of special travel permits to be stringent. NAMPOL Inspector General Sebastian Ndeitunga and Commissioner General Raphael Hamunyela of the Namibian Correctional Services (NCS) are inspecting roadblocks in the Erongo Region. As of today, Namibia has 335 COVID-19 confirmed cases, with Walvis Bay topping the list. The Erongo Region is under lockdown which ends on Monday.
