The Chief Council of Shambyu Traditional Authority plans to appeal against the High Court's ruling, which set aside the designation of Sophia Mundjembwe Kanyetu as Hompa. The Windhoek High Court ruled that Maria Ukamba Haindaka, who is contesting the throne, be allowed to submit her application for designation to the Minister as well.
