The Ministry of Mines and Energy's Solar Revolving Fund has provided assistance totalling N$128 million since 2011. The credit facility has been in operation since 1996, making renewable energy technologies accessible to communities in rural and urban areas. GIZ, through its Green People's Energy Project, has again injected more than N$5 million into the Fund.
