The 7th Swapo Party Youth League Ordinary Congress resumed this afternoon after leaders agreed on the way forward. According to sources the nomination of Wellem Amutenya, by the Oshikoto Regional Conference for Secretary, has been rejected by the Central Committee because of his personal attributes but he is eligible to stand for Central Committee. Meanwhile, Kunene Governor Marius Sheya and NYC Executive Chairperson Sharonice Busch are now eligible to partake in the CC elections. Amutenya confirmed the news, however, he declined to comment further. Incumbent SPYL Secretary Ephraim Nekongo, in an exclusive interview with nbc News this afternoon, said the congress is back in full swing. He however remains adamant that they will not entertain any nominations from Congress for the positions of Secretary and Deputy Secretary.
