President Hage Geingob on Monday announced the death of SWAPO Parliamentarian and former National Youth Council executive chairperson, Mandela Kapere. Geingob made the announcement to the media at State House. “I have learned with great sadness about the passing of our illustrious youth leader, comrade Mandela Kapere,” he stated. The President said the Namibian nation has lost a dynamic Parliamentarian who played an important role in shaping the trajectory of youth leadership in Namibia. Geingob further extended his condolences to the family and loved ones of the late Kapere. Kapere was 37 years old. -NAMPA
