A Swapo MP in the National Council wants a provision to be included in the Gaming and Entertainment Control Bill to prohibit irresponsible gambling. Petrus Kavhura says gamblers who are addicted often accumulate high debts or sell valuable assets such as houses, cars, or pension payouts to sustain such habits.
