Three girls died at Ombafi lake in Ogongo Constituency, Omusati Region, after a drowning incident there yesterday. It is suspected that the four children, aged between 13 and 15 years, were catching fish in the Ombafi earth dam, when they slipped into deep water resulting in three of them drowning. The deceased have been identified as Kukaji Muziku (15), Kengeleni Pedru (15)and Kaunjandelua Lombueleni (13).
