Elections training of police officers and political party agents is underway in the !Nami#nus Constituency of the //Kharas Region. Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN) regional coordinator Augustinus Ucham says the training will equip law enforcement and party agents with the relevant guidelines for conducting free and fair elections. Among others, the training covers the rights and responsibilities of party agents and law enforcement officers as well as problem-solving protocols. !Nami#nus will be having nine fixed polling stations and five mobile teams. The Regional Council and Local Authority Elections will be held on 25 November.
