A 12-year-old boy was allegedly raped by his 68-year-old uncle on Saturday night at Ojohorongo Village in the Omatjete area of the Erongo Region. It is alleged that the suspect who came for a funeral spend the night in the victim's room. The victim informed another uncle after he was told to go and sleep with the suspect for the second night. The suspect was arrested and will appear at Omaruru Magistrate's Court on Thursday. In another incident at the village, a one-year and five-month-old boy died after he was allegedly bitten by a snake. The boy died on his way to the Omatjete Clinic at about 02h00. Family members found a zebra snake in a room and killed it. Investigations continue.
