Two people were severely injured in a road accident that happened on the B1 road just 10km from Witvlei in Omaheke Region, involving a truck and a sedan yesterday. It is alleged that the female driver of a white sedan was in the process of overtaking the truck when her vehicle is believed to have gone off the road onto the gravel. In trying to bring the car back to the road, the sedan then hit the front tyre of the truck, resulting in both vehicles crashing and overturning. Medical personnel were on hand shortly after, attending to both drivers.
