The National Assembly and the United Nation's child welfare agency, United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) have signed a three-year joint collaboration to accelerate the rights of children in Namibia. UNICEF seeks to provide in-country capacity support through programmes that will generate data and evidence to support lawmakers during debates or when drafting new laws and policies on issues facing children.
