Verdict of inquiry in killing of Nchindo brothers by BDF expected tomorrow

The ruling into the killings of the Nchindo brothers by the Botswana Defense Force (BDF) is expected to be delivered tomorrow on Thursday in the Kasane Magistrate's court. A judiciary inquiry into the killings of Tommy (48), Martin (40) and Wamunyima Nchindo 36, as well as their cousin, Sinvula Munyeme (44) by BDF, was conducted in November last year. During the inquiry, the burning issues included the limited powers the Namibian team to the joint investigation had, as they were not allowed to take pictures as well as contradicting statements from Botswana state witnesses. The Namibian team of witnesses accused the Botswana Police Service's investigations of being biased, as they were protecting and condoning the actions of the BDF. More than 25 witnesses from both countries testified in the inquiry.
