Veteran politician and former Deputy Prime Minister, Dr Libertine Amathila says political independence will be meaningless without economic freedom, and should therefore not be undermined. Dr Amathila says the notion of thinking that Namibia has only achieved political independence with no economic independence is wrongly perceived.
